This whole endeavour is such a powerful illustration of the great things that can happen when the UK exports its cultural treasures - like BBC NOW- worldwide, and above all, what a remarkable force for good orchestral musicians are in our lives.
James Murphy, Royal Philharmonic Society
I´m glad and excited about this project! I really can't find a word to say thanks! The local people are still talking about the BBC NOW and I´m very happy for the music and the relationship between Wales and Patagonia!!
Héctor MacDonald, Trelew, Patagonia
What a fabulous charity! I have had a read of your story... and I play a number of instruments, so understand the international language of music and the positive mental health and social benefits it has.
Robert Chatfield, British Council director in Argentina. Buenos Aires
Initiatives such as PIP are crucial to helping ensure that the unique links between Argentina and Wales can continue to thrive and grow via genuine cultural, musical and people-to-people connections.

Your dedication to supporting children's orchestras in Chubut, as well as providing assistance to schools and groups in need, such as the choir in El Lago Puelo and the bilingual school in Gaiman, is commendable. It is truly heartwarming to see the positive impact you and your team are making on the musical life of the province. Congratulations on all that you have achieved so far!
Alessandro Viggiano Marra, Argentine Embassy, London.
I wish to thank you personally, as well as all the individuals and organizations whom contributed towards your campaign to send musical instruments to the Chubut Province. As a school we are most grateful for your kindness - the pupils will benefit a great deal from your generosity.
Rebeca White, (Prifathrawes / Headmistress) - Ysgol Gymraeg y Gaiman
On behalf of the whole team of the String School Arcos al Sur we thank you for this beautiful gesture from so many generous people, to support and share the desire to promote music in people's lives. Today we do not feel so alone, today we have the certainty that music unites us, embraces us from a distance.
Paz Misurelli, Arcos Strings, Chazareta Strings, Trevelin.
The "De Biasi" Children's Youth Symphony Orchestra of the City of Esquel is an independent project that arose in 2018. Since its inception we have received the support of the Patagonia Instrument Project Foundation, created after the visit of the BBC NOW in 2015. Thanks to the support of this foundation, we have been able to have buy better quality instruments than those initially purchased, repair instruments that suffer wear and tear from use, condition the rehearsal rooms in times of pandemic and carry out necessary purchases for required health and hygiene needs. All their support received over the years has allowed us to continue with our project aiming at quality musical teaching and expression and expanding opportunities for children and young people in our town. We are forever grateful.
Glenda Powell, Directora Orquesta De Biasi Infanto Juvenil, Esquel
We retain and highly value the ties with Wales through the Patagonia Instrument Project who collaborate year after year so that our children are surrounded by an environment where music is the mechanism to connect, with principles and values to be our starting point to train future generations. We send you a brotherly hug.
Mariana Navarro, Director of the Inta Neighborhood Orchestra, Trelew, Chubut

It will give me great solace and pleasure to know that Jane's guitar will be being played, with love and passion in Patagonia. What an inspiring movement yours is.

It seems incredible to me and it also fills me with joy to know that there are people like you, who against all the obstacles, remain firm with their goal and their dream that Patagonian kids can learn to be musicians with excellent quality instruments!
